This is a letter of recommendation for Frank Musumeci, PT. I have known Mr. Musumeci as a clinical sports medicine physical therapist since 1990 when he rehabilitated many of my patients at the Sport Clinic in North Miami, Florida. His outcomes were outstanding. He is extremely well known to the Sports Medicine/Orthopedic Surgery physicians in South Florida as being one of the most competent therapists available.

Over 10 years ago, Frank embarked on a program of developing musculoskeletal injury prevention concepts. He has been a lecturer for multiple facilities including the world acclaimed Pritikin Longevity Center. As a member of our Faculty for the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at Larkin Hospital, South Miami, he lectures to our fellows. His lectures about biomechanics in regards to shoulder and knee injuries prevention management and rehabilitation are extremely well received by the Sports Medicine Fellows and other Faculty. We love having him return regularly at the Larkin Hospital’s Sports Medicine Fellowship Program as he has tremendous insight as to the orthopedic perspective of exercise choices and contraindications due to his 30 years of outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation experience.

Frank and I have had the chance to cross refer patients for customized exercise programs tailored towards their orthopedic histories, orthopedic contraindications and recreational goals. He often sends rather difficult mechanical cases my way. He has impressed our patients as well. He is an excellent team player.
