I first worked with Frank in 1987, while with the Miami Dolphins Football Club serving as an athletic trainer. Frank was the lead physical therapist for the Dolphins for any specialized rehabilitation. 70% of surgical procedures required the rehab to be done at the team physician's facility.
Frank was responsible for coordinating all therapy for those instances, as well as the transition and limiting protocol when moving an athlete back to the team facility. Doctors, trainers, and players had tremendous confidence in Frank's capability to produce the best results possible. His most notable case involved that of All-Pro Dwight Stephenson.
Personally, I had Frank oversee the diagnosis and rehabilitation of my shoulder. I did this even though the team had transitioned team physicians. This is the best endorsement I could possible give Frank. I sought him out when the issue was personal.
Frank is as a person with tremendous character and ability. His ability to individualize an analytical approach to the professional athlete is rare . I am proud to call him friend .
