To Whom It May Concern,

I have known Frank Musumeci for several decades. I have been in medical practice, (cardiology and internal medicine and holistic medicine), for 35 years. After attending Frank's lecture at Pritikin Longevity Center it finally became crystal clear why we needlessly suffer back, neck, shoulder and other musculoskeletal problems. His lectures use clear motivation
actionable easy to incorporate therapies into ones own health program because of his lecture style, pictures, grafts, demonstrations and models. Frank teaches people how to avoid problems in daily life and exercise by using a preventative approach of exercise concepts combined with his knowledge of the aging process of the musculoskeletal system. He clearly demonstrates these in a power point lecture. He implies them to exercise routines and goals.

I have personally seen dramatic results in dozens of patients that Frank has taken care of. In all my years of seeing patients, generally over the age of 40, I find Frank's method to be the most effective. His method of educating patients about the normal aging process and subsequently arranging goals to address these has helped many of the patients I have
known. Prevention has become his primary focus. Frank stresses that he would prefer to prevent injuries than have to treat them as a therapist.

Frank differentiates the current allopathic attempts to address the aging process of the musculoskeletal system through the use of medications. His statement that a mechanical problem cannot be completely resolved with a chemical solution rings completely true within my knowledge. The current therapies of medications, injections and surgeries are the mainstream ways of dealing with common disorders such as degenerative disc disease, rotator cuff inflammations, degenerative joint disease of the knees and cervical dysfunction. Very few practitioners are well versed in discussing the biomechanics of the Ferguson angle of the pelvis and how that relates to common degenerative conditions such as stenosis, degenerative disc disease, rotator cuff dysfunction and cervical dysfunction. Frank clearly describes the biomechanics of the pelvis in relation to these other joints and how prevention is more important than mainstream allopathic approaches.

Frank's main goal is clear; he attempts to work with the fitness community and brings a dimension of orthopedic knowledge to the fitness community. He has employed this concept with the Pritikin Longevity Center for over a
decade. I have watched him lecture there; he is extremely well received and his services are in high demand.

I am overly confident in Frank's ability to lecture for you or any other facility. I am sure it will be one of the most eye opening and compelling lectures you have ever attended. His lecture was one of the most educational and practical ones that I have been to in a very long time. It is very applicable to mainstream laypersons and I have no hesitation in highly recommending Frank as he would be an asset to any agency or institution that would be smart enough to give him a chance to explain his concepts.

Sincerely yours,

Dr. Sylvan Lewis, MD
